The love of your life has popped the question, and of course, you answered with a resounding, “Yes!” Now, the wedding planning process is in full swing, and you may be starting to think about your wedding day look. Aside from picking out the perfect gown and selecting your accessories, you might be considering plastic surgery procedures that you want to have performed in advance.
One of the most common questions that breast augmentation patients ask me is whether they can have “gummy bear” implants. Usually, they are not really sure what that term really refers to, so I thought I would address that question here.
It’s safe to say that I never go an entire week without seeing some patient who is unhappy with previous plastic surgery. Certainly, even in the best of hands, patients can have imperfect outcomes.
Don’t even try to pretend that you didn’t know plastic surgery was popular for men these days. It’s way past that, even with the older population. What people don’t know- and they ask about all the time- is which surgeries men are getting.
When women come to their consults for breast augmentation, their main focus is on “which breast implant should I choose?” They may have some idea about what look they want, but that cosmetic goal can get confused as they see so many online reviews and discussions about different types of implants.
I’m pretty sure that, if there is one topic that I’ve talked about with patients in consults the most over 16 years, it’s this. Saline vs. Silicone.
Here you go- Coolsculpting is real. Coolsculpting for fat reduction is almost as amazing as Botox for preventing wrinkles! Both of technologies caused tectonic changes in cosmetic medicine/surgery.
