HARDEEVILLE, S.C., April 14 — Coastal Carolina Medical Center congratulates Frederick G. Weniger, M.D., F.A.C.S. for recently completing specialized training in Emerging Technologies and Techniques in Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Weniger began seeing patients in the Lowcountry in August 2005 and on August 1st, 2006, opened his own practice. Weniger Plastic Surgery has a central office in Plantation Park, Bluffton and has satellite offices at Serendipity Medical Spa on Hilton Head and at the Royal Sands Salon and Spa in Port Royal.
Dr. Weniger provides popular cosmetic and plastic surgery procedures, such as breast augmentation, liposuction, tummy tucks, Sculptra, Restylane, Botox®, eyelid surgery, breast reduction, facelifts, and more. Additionally, Dr. Weniger performs reconstructive procedures such as skin cancer removal and reconstruction as well as hand surgery.
Dr. Weniger graduated Cum Laude from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine after receiving his undergraduate degree Magna Cum Laude from the University of Notre Dame. In addition to completing his residency in Plastic Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh, Dr. Weniger received his masters in business administration from the Katz Graduate School of Business.

In addition to serving as president of Notre Dame’s premedical honor society, Dr. Weniger also served as vice president of his alma mater’s flying club, as well as second principle trombonist within its orchestra. Dr. Weniger and his wife Jennifer recently moved to the Bluffton area last summer. The couple has a 2 year old daughter – Paige Renée, and recently celebrated the birth of their second daughter, Lauren Elizabeth. Together, the family enjoys backpacking and spending time with their extended families.
Located off of Highway 278, just east of Interstate 95 in Hardeeville, Coastal Carolina Medical Center opened its doors to patients in November 2004. The 41-bed, full-service hospital offers a variety of inpatient and outpatient services, including comprehensive inpatient and outpatient surgical services, diagnostic imaging and laboratory services, and a full-service 24-hour emergency department staffed with board-certified, emergency-trained physicians.
