SOBA is a non-profit organization that aims to help and support artists in the community of Bluffton. The organization holds several events and classes throughout the year, bringing together local artists to show off their talents and share their passion for creating art.

Aside from SOBA, there are several other places in the city where you can go to see the work of local artists. Pluff Mudd Art is a unique art gallery in an old cottage that showcases the work of Bluffton artists and designers.

Among other things, the gallery hosts an art class and showcases works of artists in different media such as watercolor, acrylic and pastel. The gallery is located at 6 Church Street in Bluffton and is open from 10 am to 5 pm on Mondays through Saturdays and 11 am to 3 pm on Sundays. You can also catch the live shows at May River Theatre, which is a theater in the downtown historic district of Bluffton. These shows are fun for the whole family and are often a highlight of Bluffton’s festivals and events.
