Will a chemical peel give me the same results as a facial scrub?

I love the way my face looks after I use a facial scrub, but that glow doesn’t last that long. Will I get the same results but longer lasting with a chemical peel?

Answer:

I think that with a chemical peel, you might get a more dramatic result, and it might last longer only because it is most dramatic to begin with. The aging process will continue in exactly the same way. What you really need to do is use a good medical skin care including retinoid and an alpha – hydroxy acid to maintain the result, and to reduce the need for the scrubs as often anyway.
