Restylane Lyft

Lift and define your cheeks and hands with targeted, long-lasting volume restoration.

Restylane Lyft® is a safe, natural hyaluronic acid filler that is FDA-approved for the treatment of mild creases around the mouth. It is also commonly used to treat deeper wrinkles and folds like the nasolabial folds, to define facial contours or add volume to areas like the cheeks, chin and jawline, and to enhance the lips, redefine the lip border, plump the eyebrows, smooth hollows beneath the eyes, and soften scars and other skin depressions.

Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance in the body which is found in the connective tissues. Over time and due to age and sun exposure, the hyaluronic acid naturally occurring in our body diminishes. Restylane Lyft®, which is derived from non-animal stabilized hyaluronic acid gel, replenishes this lost hyaluronic acid, plumping the skin like normal tissues.

Restylane Lyft® is similar to Restylane®, which is also made from hyaluronic acid. However, it is slightly thicker than Restylane® which may make it a better choice for filling deeper lines to thhe nasolabial folds and adding volume to cheeks.

Restylane Lyft® does not require any prior skin testing. Treatment is generally quick and can be completed in under an hour. While discomfort is usually minimal, a topical anesthetic may be used. Restylane Lyft® is injected using a very fine needle. There is no downtime or recovery and patients are able to resume their normal routine immediately after treatment. Results last an average of six months to a year.

Restylane Lyft® is a very safe injectable treatment. However, as with any injectable treatment there are potential side effects and these may include redness, swelling, tenderness and itching.
