Question: I am interested in decreasing the size of my breasts. What sort of results could I expect if I opt for liposuction alone versus breast reduction surgery?

Answer: Liposuction of the breasts can be a reasonable option for very young patients. As patients get older, there are not just problems with size of the breast, but often times droopiness and loose skin. If this is the case, then if you are unhappy with your nipples being low, liposuction would certainly not help as it could make it worse. On the other hand, if you are very young and the breasts are large, but still very perky, liposuction can be an option, although of course this still deflates the breast.
